I don't run script to enable it, i am enabling it manually from the preference pane in system preferences. It is because my dual G4 is always on and I don't have to turn it off. It is running as a server of my media files and my work station as well.

Samsung know they are in trouble with the Apple suits, and rightly so. But instead of just defending the suit against them, they are making stuff up to get back at Apple.

I know this is late, but I just bought season 2 of chuck and pleasantly surprised to find it in HD, and the file size seems to be the same as the SD format of season 1.

our guess, guys (and a very smart sexy lady) who have a weekly "read the post and guess the poster's bent" voted unanimously that some people really have little or nothing to do in their lives, way too much time on their hands, and possible use posts as their only way to interact with other beings, even if it's online.
not so far off if you read past posts, and try to figure out why somebody takes time, daily, to go to a site that has nothing to do with their personal interests but just to try to throw a stink bomb in somebody else's chats. how much of a life can that person really have?

There's nothing stupid about this. Its a huge privacy violation to have your locations constantly tracked without your consent, even if the data is not used directly by Apple. This easily accessed location data on your phone was already widely known and used by police agencies since last year according to several articles, so you can just imagine what it is like for someone in a police state to have all their locations for the past year easily accessed when they are arrested. That's not to mention spying or abusive spouses, industrial espionage, and many other reasons to want to maintain some confidentiality.
The fact that Apple only bothered to care about this or look into it after it became a media storm shows that there is a simple lack of privacy controls and concern about privacy at the company.

Before when I was in notebook layout view, when I was indented two bullet points in and pressed enter, a new bullet is placed on the same indent as the previous line. NOw if I wanted to go back to have a bullet point at the first indent I would just press delete and it would backspace and form bullet at the first indent, but now instead it just goes back to the end of the previous line. Help please.

I don't think there ever was a ppc 602 processor... at least in a mac. Am I wrong? 601, 603e and 604 (SWEET!).

That was an awesome read. I am VERY interested in the removable graphics part. I really wanted the 6970m - but the 27" is physically not possible - so I'm stuck with the 6770m.
Can any comment on the possibility of upgrading your GPU down the road if needed?

I'm kinda looking for a specific Tiger theme. When you unzip the file, it has a folder of tiger icons in it like this:

I have just started my own webpage using iweb but wen I go to the webpage that apple set up for me it takes me to my google apps webpage that is blank.

well here is the damage.
I cant get the old paste off the gpu as its baked on hard!
Top left corner of GPU looks burnt to me. Maybe it's bad picture quality, but if it's burnt really (what makes it DOA), it may explain why thermal paste is baked on.

I bought a Radeon 9600 PRO from OWC years ago, it was an OEM card pulled from an AGP G5 tower with pins 3 & 11 taped by OWC. They stopped selling them after awhile because of problems with certain versions of the G4 but it always worked fine for me in my Digital Audio.
I had the exact same card in my dual 867 MDD in 07 and later in the dual 1.42 I got. I loved it. Was my first core image GPU. Bought mine on ebay.
I settled on a Sawtooth in the end as I prefer reliability and they are one of the most reliable Macs ever made. Most reliable G4 tower by far.

Got my iphone 4 2 weeks ago, everything running perfectly until tonight. While i was listening to a podcast on speakers it suddenly went silent then a few seconds later went back to normal again. Now, the speakers is just intermittently working.

any ideas? im thinking it has something to do with the hardware, i tried restarting and it still doesn't work.
