How about meeting Michelle Obama... her highness the soon to be First Lady?
Its gonna be a lot easier to get her attention than Mr. President himself.
We can all be sure that Mrs. Obama is one person who has command over his ears and anything coming from her would certainly hold his attention. Sure it is not the most honorable way to get shit done, but we'll take whatever we can get.
Let us request a formal appointment, keep it processional and classy, and raise funds so that few IVians from around washington DC can go see her in style.

Labour Priority date is Nov'20 2007
My I-140 receipt date is Feb'20 2008..
My I-140 Approve date is Sep'24 2008
My 6 years H-1 will be completed by Jan'2010..but still my H-1 was denied..

What will happen if primary case got approved but dependent case is still pending and at the same time, dependent H4 will be expiring soon??
Actually my case got approved yesterday, my wife's not yet. Her H4 expires in September. Thanks.
As long as her application is pending with USCIS, there is nothing to worry. My friend is in a similar situation. His GC was approved just 2 days before retrogression hit the previous time. So unfortunately, his wife's AOS application was not approved at the same time. She is still waiting for her GC to be approved.
Your wife does not need AP if her AOS has been filed and she does not intend to travel outside the country.

I agree with sri1309. This is very very scary time. We need a special attention right now. Right now no one is sure that he will have his job tomorrow.
We need to send a letter to Obama, Homeland Security Secretary and Ombudsman. Someone can take a lead to prepare a letter and that letter should be approved by IV.
It is really important for us to take a decison by IV core because this is really a very bad time.

contract is between prime vendor and middle vendor and my employer ... middle vendor made a contract with prime saying that i am on his W2 which is not right. prime vendor has a clause in their agreement that he can work with my employer directly if i am not a w2 of middle vendor.
so now middle vendor is saying that he will sue me along with my emplyer , prime vendor bcoz we surpassed him and created a new contract between my employer and prime vendor. I know it sounds ridiculous that middle vendor is trying to sue me but i want to make sure if there is any way he can stop me ? or sue me ?

Labor + 140 if complted without any RFE would take least 8 - 12 months. But considering today's conditions that is highly unlikely so ballpark figure would be 15 - 18 months. Also if it gets rejected for any reason lawyer mistakes or A2P or education etc then it would be waste of time and resources.

years in 3 months. - Filed Labor (approved. PD Aug 2004 EB3), I140 (applied in May 2007) and I485 (July fiasco)
- I140 still pending
Question:
1. Does L1 period is counted for H1 extention?
[I]H1 term of 6 years includes l1 time and excludes vacation periods
2. Can he do H1 transfer using AC21 without I140 approval?
Not sure what you are looking for. 1 year H1 extension is possible since labor PD is 2004. The extension also allows you to transfer / change employers[I]

I'd like to thankyou each for your reply upfront & foremost...
I don't have any of the "fuzzball" pic's handy where as I've been deleting them as they come... I'll take some later tonight and post them...

First idea: put the lens to manual focus, and try that on a tripod. Perhaps the focus point got moved, and the camera is attempting to focus on black sky? This test would attempt to eliminate that.
As I stated originally, the first half'dozen + photo's I took of the moon where over the course of 2 nights... and each of them were taken "handheld", with "full'auto" On. All the other settings were out of the box defaults. And every one of them were "in focus" as they appeared in the viewfinder. 2 weeks later when I attempted somemore moon'shots was when I realized that something was different. "Every" shot from then on of the moon was as I've been discribing. I've attempted more than 2 dozen shots via "Manual focus while on a Tripod, using the Timer". And the results are identical to the current "hand'held" photo's. As for the focus point... I've set the camera to lock in via "single area" bracket selection as discribed on page 67 of the manual. I've even gone as far as to focus in on the moon in "auto" mode and then switched over to "manual" mode, set the timer, and still the same thing...

I'm presently at work and the moon is just coming into view... I'm going to head home in a bit and pickup my camera and try checking & or changing these settings to see if it helps...

Every time you use your credit card they ask for photo ID.
I know! Thats why I posed this thread. Today I was buying a sandwich and when I passed my credit card the guy asked for a photo ID since I have "see ID" on the back of the card. I didnt have my passport with me so I couldn't present him anything but my student ID. He goes "thats not valid". So I told him the story and then I said "come on, if I had stolen this card do you think I would do: buy a sandwich for $7.68 or go to Tiffany's right now". He laughed and charged it :)
